Hallelujah is a dance theater piece inspired by the folklore, sacred music and dance traditions found in the African Diaspora. The angels or spirits down in Ginen, below the water are commemorated and honored by their devotees as they dance and sing in the "plante." NYU / Distinguished Faculty Concert, 2004. |
